It also makes her seem totally crazy to most other human beings (but we've heard this is common among trail runners).

I came by your blog trying to look something else up, thought I should pass on the news...
Gary Hilliard (the race director we know and LOVE) was in a very serious accident last Sunday and remains in critical condition. I post this here to ask that you hold him and his wife Pam in your loving thoughts and pray for them...
