Yeah! I can now access your blog easily and effortlessly - which are essential qualities for a dedicated uncle who is a self-admitted lazyass - you certainly didn't get your trailrunning genes from me! Have fun on this run - it sounds wild. I know Boo and Bien would love to run it with you!

Hey Ash...You mentioned the word "harrier". Have you ever had the pleasure of counting yourself among the ranks of any number of Hash House Harrier organizations? I have hashed in two countries so far and I am looking forward to adding a whole ton more. When I am back in the states in 6 months or so I should be checking out a hash in DC or Bmore. I hope to get out to LA to see you...and perhaps add another Hash to my repetoire. Most of the runs I went on in Africa sound exactly like the invitation you received. I'm jealous. There aren't too many trails here in Jerusalem.

Oh, Bo - I have been meaning to try a Hash House Harrier run for years and really need to stop the procrastination. Please do come to L.A. - we have a whole calendar's worth of hashes out here and we'll definitely do one when you visit. On, on!

i wish i had known about this race. i live close to ventura and love to hear about events like this in my area. how much longer will they be able to tear up the old golf course? is it open to the public for running at any time or just these kind of planned events?

i look forward to your write-up!

by the way, i am going to be running a lot of unsupported 50Ks this year on my own through the trails in my area...including Bulldog 50K. let me know if you would be interested in joining me for all or part of one. i am always glad to have the company on the trails.
