AT WORK: a mild-mannered philanthropic professional. THE REST OF THE TIME: a trail-running fool with a passion for long excursions in the outdoors. This leads to a single-minded determination to run up the next hill, and then the next and the next! It also makes her seem totally crazy to most other human beings (but we've heard this is common among trail runners).

As one of the volunteers at Buffalo Creek AS, I can assure you that it was indeed a lot of fun working the aid station. I, too, will be back next year as a volunteer. Come join us! Congratulations on your finish, and good luck at Lean Horse.
