It also makes her seem totally crazy to most other human beings (but we've heard this is common among trail runners).

Hey Ashley. Great article. I could picture it while I was reading. I just moved to Ft. Collins and just started running (again, sort of) since I was a teenager. Your coach sounds like a great inspiration. I hope you have contacted him to let him know! I'll keep checking your blog for more. Thanks!
