About Ashley
About Me
- Name: Ashley
- Location: Fort Collins, Colorado, United States
AT WORK: a mild-mannered philanthropic professional. THE REST OF THE TIME: a trail-running fool with a passion for long excursions in the outdoors. This leads to a single-minded determination to run up the next hill, and then the next and the next! It also makes her seem totally crazy to most other human beings (but we've heard this is common among trail runners).

Wow, as I viewed all the photos I felt like I was right there with you, Beth, Frank and Bo. Of course, there's no way I would have gotten up at 4:30 a.m.! And I would have been out of breath at the first switchback. But there was a time when your Dad, Good Ole Ma, Aunt Suzanne, Uncle Mark and I climbed Mt. Sneffels. I know you'll remember this climb as fondly as I remember that one. RWLY Uncle Steve
What a fantastic blog. I am enjoying seeing your adventures. I got to Colorado and started hiking immediately about 5 years ago. Coming from Australia, the altitude really messed me up for a bit. Now, after a few set backs, I am looking for more challenges. Thank you so much for creating your journal. After reading it, I really want to go up Devil Playground come Spring. Do you have any good ones around Colorado Springs that run between 5-15miles that give great photos. Feel free to write me on my site. It's free, selling nothing. :-) Its just my site. I started it long before blogs came along. www.lamsonadventures.com If you feel like writing, you can drop me a note at "garth" @ my server, lamsonadventures.com. Sorry, seperated it so I can try and keep the spam down. Thanks again. Keep trekking!
Thanks for the great story! Just enough info and great pictures to inspire me and hold my interest.
